Show WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, June 4. Miss Fren Hannig of this place and Walter Wal-ter Riding of St. George were married mar-ried at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hannig, Han-nig, on Wednesday, May 29. Bishop W. W. McArthur of St. George performed per-formed the ceremony. A shower was given the young couple that evening at the home of the bride's parents. Wie wish them much happiness and success through their married life. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson left Saturday for Salt Lake City to attend at-tend the graduation exercises at the University of Utah. They were accompanied ac-companied by their daughter, Phyllis. Phyl-lis. Mr. and Mrs. Laron Andrus have gone to Marysvale to spend the summer. Nina Nisson left last week for Fredonia, Arizona. Born A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Miller, Sunday, May 26. Mrs. May Sandberg entertained the Les Amies club Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Kate Jones is home from St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Paxman were visiting relatives here Thursday. Thurs-day. Miss Hattie Paxman arrived home Saturday from Mammoth, where she has been teaching school. Elder Ezra Tobler of Santa Clara who recently returned from a mission mis-sion to Germany, was the speaker in our sacrament meeting Sunday evening. Mrs. Nancy Pace of New Mexico, who has been here visiting her brother, Hyrum Boggs, left Monday. Mrs. Lydia Stephens is a new clerk in Calvin Hall's store. Mrs. Eliza Redd of Salt Lake City is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Minnie Paxman. Sherman Cooper arrived Saturday from Wellington where he spent .the past winter teaching school. |
