Show Local News Items David Lamoreaux left Wednesday for LaPoint to spend Christmas with relatives. Mrs. Joseph Empey, Jr., is able to be out again after an illness of two months. H. D. Bales of Parowan was a St. George visitor the fore part of this week. I. Y. Bigelow of Cedar City is in St. George on Dixie Power Company business. Mrs. Marie Hamblin of Los Angeles, An-geles, is at the hospital here for treatment. Dean A. Clark left Wednesday for Salt Lake City to spend a few days on business. Miss Afton Bryner came in Wednesday Wed-nesday from Salt Lake City to spend Christmas with relatives. Miss Louisa Hopkins spent the week end here from Central where she is teaching school. Parley Hunt of Enterprise was a business visitor in St. George the fore part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Jed M. Terry and son Melvin of Motoqua were visitors visit-ors in St. George Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Esplin arrived here Tuesday from Orderville to spend the Christmas holidays. Miss Lucile Worthen came in Wednesday Wed-nesday night from Provo to spend the Christmas holidays with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Worthen. Lyndyl and Phillip Foremaster arrived here Wednesday from Short Creek to. spend the Christmas holidays. holi-days. Judge-elect LeRoy H. Cox left on Tuesday for Salt Lake on a few days business trip. He expects to return Saturday. |
