Show WOODWARD PUPILS MAKE BIG HIT WITH OPERETTA The operetta, "The Kidnaping of Santa Claus," was presented in the tabernacle on Wednesday evening. It was under the direction of three teachers, Miss Tillie Winsor, Miss Mishie Seegmiller and Mrs. Rose Graham, and the music instructor, Karl E. Fordham, with Mrs. Mae Pace at the piano. Selections were rendered by the Woodward school eighteen-piece orchestra or-chestra which were enjoyed by the audience. About 140 pupils took part being dressed in appropriate costumes for their particular parts. Radiola, the radio fairy, and her cat Socrates, were well represented and Eskimos, Northern Lights, Christmas Joys, Goblins and Clowns were in the cast.. |
