Show ELDERLY FOLKS ENTERTAINED More than one hundred of the elderly people of St. George were entertained by the Lesser Priesthood, Priest-hood, Scouts and Vanguards in the gymnasium Monday afternoon. after-noon. The boys from the three wards combined in working out the project. From 1 o'clock until 2 the troop committees supervised supervis-ed the transporting of the guests to the gymnasium. At 2 o'clock a program was given and refreshments refresh-ments served. The following program was enjoyed en-joyed by the old people: Prayer, George W. Wprthen; group song by the boys; boys' quartet, He-ber He-ber Thompson, Owen Cottam, Henry Hen-ry Nicholes and June Moody; tribute tri-bute to guests, Owen oCttam; guitar gui-tar duet, Carl Moss and. 'VJeorge Thompson; duet, James Alsoj and Delbert Sullivan; reading, Orpha M. Hunt; solo, Earl Morris; piano-logue, piano-logue, B. Glen Smith; solo, Wesley Wes-ley Atkin; harmonica selection, Ernest Nelson and sons; solo, Orpha Or-pha Hunt; duet, Murray Webb and Richard Sullivan; solo, George Thompson; taps. After luncheon the guests were taken to their homes. |
