Show WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, Feb. 4. Funeral Fun-eral services were held here last Thursday for Mrs. Mattie Crawford, Craw-ford, who died last Monday in St. George. John Tanner of the bishopric bish-opric conducted the services. The The choir sang O, My Father. Opening prayer was by Win. To-bler. To-bler. Singing, I Need Thee- Every Hour. The speakers were Melvin Harmon, D. H. Morris, Randolph Andrus, and John Tanner. A vocal solo was rendered by Mrs. Louie Miller. Vocal trio, Mrs. W. O. Bentley, Mrs. Louie Miller and Mrs. Sullivan. Closing prayer was by President Jos. K. Nicholes. Mrs. Emeline Wignall of Pay-son Pay-son is spending a few weeks here visiting relatives. Mrs. Florence Hunt returned to her home in Los Angeles Sunday after attending the funeral of her grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Crawford. Craw-ford. H. J. Schlappy of Delta is here visiting relatives and " friends. Wilford Stephens is confined to his bed with heart trouble. Mrs. Annie T. Neilson returned Sunday from Salt Lake where she attended the funeral of her sister. Mrs. Ida Pearce of St. George was visiting relatives here Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Lillie Graff of Hurricane spent the week end here. Dot Iverson spent Sunday here from St. George. Delma, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Miller, who has been quite ill is improving. Edwin Sandberg made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake last week. The M. I. A. is planning for the gold and green ball on February Febru-ary 12. |
