Wood-! bury, Clarence Sanders, Ashworth j and Sidney Thompson our public square was cleaned up last Friday j and Saturday and the Saturday half holiday was started with a good turn out. George S. Davis of Provo is a business busin-ess visitor here and is returning this week to move his family here to live at the La Verkin Hot Springs. He expects to put up an ice cream parlor and hot dog stand here. E. J. Graff purchased the Charles B. Petty store at Hurricane last week and it will now be known as the Graff Mercantle Co. Mrs. Pearl Webb who has spent the past three weeks in Provo, visiting, returned home last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hardy leave this morning for Salt Lake City for a new car.
