Show WILL OPEN PUBLIC LAW ENTRY Ex-Service Men Arc Given Preference Pref-erence in Filing Applications. Ap-plications. According to a communication from Eli F. Taylor, register of the United States land office at Salt Lake, approximately 2,718.06 acres of land in Washington county will be subject to entry beginning May 27, 1931. The land is officially designated as fractional township 40 south, range 17 west, and is located in the vicinity of Gunlock, the closest portion lying about half a mile south and east of the town. The land made available by filing fil-ing plat of survey includes the S'.i of section 2G, S'i of section 27 and all of sections 33, 34 and 35. For a period of 91 days beginning begin-ning May 27, the land will be subject sub-ject to appropriation under the homestead and desert land laws by qualified ex-service nuin whose service recognition is granted by congress. For a period of twenty days prior to May 27, or from May 7 to May 2G, inclusive, ex-service men may present their applica-1 applica-1 Hons, and all applications so presented, pre-sented, together with those offered of-fered on May 27, will be treated ! as simultaneously filed. Conflicting Conflict-ing applications will be disposed of by drawing. On August 26 any of the lands remaining unreserved and unappropriated unap-propriated will be subject to entry en-try under any applicable public l?nd law by the public generally. |
