Clark Friday January Jan-uary 30, at the Washington County Coun-ty hospital. Glenn Snow came down Sunday from Hurricane, and was accompanied accom-panied on the return trip by Mrs. Snow and infant. Miss Virginia Anderson of Toquerville came down Friday and will visit with friends here for about a week. Mrs. T. L. Abbott and two sons left Saturday for Delta where they will visit with her parents for some" time. Miss Beatrice Adams left Thursday Thurs-day for Parowan after spending the past two weeks here visiting friends. Mrs. E. H. Christensen and daughter - of Salt Lake City arrived arriv-ed here Sunday and will visit for a short time with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. ' Gregerson of Pintura spent Sunday here visiting with Mrs. Althea Gregerson. Greger-son. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Nutter of Salt Lake City who have spent the past week here, left Sunday for St. Thomas where they will spend a few days. Granville SnoW of Fielding, a former Dixie resident arrived Thursday for a ten day visit with relatives here. This is his first visit here in twenty years. Mason Rencher and Frank Kel-sey Kel-sey of New Harmony spent Saturday Satur-day here and were accompanied on the trip back by Mrs. Eliza Kelsey who has spent the past three weeks here visiting at the Jos. Prince home and with other friends. '..-,,-I : Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Stout of Hurricane brought their two months old baby down Monday, to receive treatment at the local hospital. Mrs. John Schmutz Jr., entertained enter-tained eighteen guests at a family fam-ily dinner Sunday evening in honor of her brother Granville Snow who is visiting here. Miss Eileen Connell of Parowan spent Sunday and Monday here with relatives, en route to Los Angeles where she will visit for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Pool of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Beasley of Cedar City stopped here Friday for a short time. They were on their way to the J. C. Penny Convention in Los Angeles. Ange-les. John D. Pulsipher of Mesquite underwent an operation Thursday at the Washington County hospital hospi-tal for removal of his left eye About a week ago Mr. Pulsipher was hit in the eye with a stick which caused it to become badly infected. Miss Irene Riding entertained a number of the young folks at a Progressive Rook party at her home Saturday evening. The first prize was won by Miss Phyllis Truman and the consolation was won by Miss Edith Fullerton. H. C. Thomas manager of the J. C. Penney store, left Sunday for Los Angeles to attend the J. c. Penney convention which began Monday and will last until Thursday Thurs-day night. He is expected back the last of the week. A birthday party was given Sunday for Moroni Bleak at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Pearce. Six couples enjoyed dinner din-ner and rook. |
