Show KAIBAB HUNTING OPENS OCTOBER 16 Hunting season for deer on tie Kaibab forest will be opened Saturday, October 16, and continue con-tinue until November 15, during which time licensed hunters may be allowed to take one deer, either a buck or a doe. Hunting will be done under the Arizona game laws and for-, for-, est service regulations, with the hunting areas designated by maps handed out at camps. To prevent overcrowding only a limited number of persons will be allowed at each camp at one time. Each hunter must have a state, of Arizona hunting license and a government agreement before be-fore going to the hunting camps. State licenses for residents are $2.50; non-resident, $35, and government agreement, $1.50. Horses and guides may be secured se-cured at the various camps at regular rates, and meals and supplies may be had at any of the towns in Utah or Arizona, near the forest. Auto roads lead to all camps and snow will not close them to travel during the season. |
