OCR Text	Show PLANE WRECKED IN TAKE OFF An airplane piloted by L. Shipp, accompanied by a Mr. Morgan of Los Angeles, was wrecked at the local airport last Thursday night when it struck a cross air current in an attempted take-off. The men were en route to Richfield to join Frank Martines on a duck hunt, and as they passed over St. George, stopped to wait for the storm to clear before attempting to pass over the Kanarra mountains. In the take-off the plane crashed to the ground, causing damages of several sev-eral hundred dollars. It was taken ta-ken by truck to Los Angeles for repair while the men continued contin-ued on to Richfield by car.
