Show ROCKVILLE Rockville. Sept, 19. School commenced com-menced this morning with Glenn Graff of Santa Clara as principal and Miss Ethel Pitts of Enterprise assistant. as-sistant. Ernest Langston made a business trip to St. George last week. Mrs. John Dennett spent the past two weeks in Cedar City caring for her daughter, Mrs. Eva Neilson, who has been very ill. Mrs. Henry Hirschi and Mrs. David P. Terry made a trip to Hurricane ' Sunday. Guy DeMill, Marvin Terry and Rulon Langston are working at Oak creek helping build a Spanish village for a moving picture concern. David Dennett is home again from St. George, where he has been under medical treatment. Alvin DeMill is quite recovered from the burns he received some time ago. David Hirschi and Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Sandberg of Hurricane were vsiitors here Sunday in the interests of the Hurricane' high school. Misses Iva Hirschi and Evelyn Terry have gone to Hurricane where they will attend high school. Miss Marcia Terry accompanied them. Mr. and Mrs. David Lemmon and granddaughter, Miss Nora Earl, returned re-turned home last week from an extended ex-tended trip in Wyoming. Sherman Russell spent last week in Cedar City. Alma Hirschi left Thursday for Green River, Wyoming. Mrs. Rulon Langston made a trip to Hurricane last week. Heber Hirschi and James Jennings, Jr., came in today from the Plain, where they have been doing road work. Miss Caroline Cox has gone to Long valley where she will attend school this coming winter. Mr. and Mrs. Niles Earl of Virgin were visitors here during the past week. Doyd Dennett was a visitor here Saturday from St. George. Mrs. Clara DeMill is home from a week's visit with relatives in Cedar City. . Lester Dalton spent the week end home from Zion park. Bishop and Mrs. Philetus Jones are home from Long valley where they have been for some time. |
