Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, October 12. David A. Dennett left here this morning to deliver de-liver a horse to Mrs. Alfred Castle at Honolulu, Hawaii. Mrs. Castle has been a frequent visitor to Zion park in recent years and on each occasion the horse has been used by her in touring the canyon. She decided to buy the horse and left it in Mr. Dennett's Den-nett's charge some time ago, until shipping arrangements were completed. complet-ed. Marvin Terry has commenced work on a new store building. Mr. Terry intends to enlarge his business to meet the needs of the growing tourist travel and expects to have his new store ready to serve the earliest of next season's flock of travelers. J. W. Harrison of the Dixie college and 3 5 members of his geology class passed' through here Friday en route to Zion park. ,Miss Alice Gates, teacher of the primary grades here, joined the party and reports a most enjoyable trip. Daniel Hirschi arrived home Thursday from Salt Lake City after a week's visit there. Mr. Hirschi accompanied ac-companied his son, Loren D. on the first lap of his journey toward the Swiss-German mission field. Miss Delia DeMill left here Friday for Duchesne, where she will teach school this winter. Howard Hirschi is home after a month spqnt in the mountains riding after cattle. Henry Cornelius of Virgin was a business visitor here Saturday. Mrs. John Dennett went to Hurricane Hurri-cane last week, on business. . Elwood Dennett of Springdale is visiting relatives here. |
