Show TALENTED SINGER TO APPEAR HER:; TOMORROW NIGHT When Suzanne Keener joined the Metropolitan Opera Co. five years ago. she had the rare distinction of being called the "Baby" of that famous institution. in-stitution. Her phenominal rise from obscurity to the crest of success was accpmplished within a year. On the occasion of one performance, after Miss Keener had created a sensation with her singing of the "Caro Nome" aria from "Rigoletto," Maurice Halper-son, Halper-son, the noted critic of the New York Staats-Zeitung wrote: "The public's efforts to break the iron-clad 'no encore' en-core' rule were never so frantic as after Miss Keener had sung the 'Caro Nome' in a most brilliant manner. There can be no doubt that this young singer has a brilliant career ahead of her."
