Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, June 23. Paul Hafen left last Saturday for Salt Lake City with a truck load of fresh fruit and vegetables. The young married women of the L. A. L. club were entertained last Friday at Ivins by Mesdames Rhoda Frei, Audre Gubler and Lillie Ence. Ezra Tobler left yesterday for Cedar City, Orvilla Bauer of Cedar City who has spent the past two weeks here, accompanied him. Ensign Gubler has purchased a new truck. He left last Saturday with a load of produce for Pioche, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli and Mrs. Arthur Paxman spent Sunday here from Washington. The Gleaner Girls club was entertained enter-tained last Friday by Misses Lola and Minnie Hafen. Born, a son, June 20, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hafen all concerned doing do-ing nicely. Merle Stucki who has been working work-ing at Park City returned home last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Blake of St. George were here yesterday. Grain is being harvested, also the second crop of hay. |
