Show Community Cleanup Set SatuI Saturday day Dec 14 Saturday Dec 14 has been designated as the ity Cleanup day for all clubs and groups according to Tom Grua chairman of the local Community Landscape Improvement Im- Im Improvement provement Committee On this date all youth groups and civic clubs will be asked to accept the ot of cleaning up certain areas that have been assigned assIgn assIgn- assIgned ed to them HOME OWNERS S are encouraged en- en encouraged to take care of their own yards and surroundings Clubs or organizations not yet contacted are arc urged by Mr Grua to contact Ben Lindsay at Uintah County ural Agricultural Office or Mr Grua at Uintah office and suggest where they wo would ld like to begin a land land- project Power trucks winch trucks dump trucks and other heavy equipment will be made mado available for use on this date in order to haul away the tree stumps and other large trash items The Seminary group at Uintah High School Glines Ward Cub Scouts and St James Catholic youth have alread already particIpated in this clean up campaign The Jaycees have been contacted and they will get rid of old cars cus along the roads and streets The rhe Lions Club has agreed to clean up streets along the south side of town Vernal City Police officers also have been con con- contacted about encouragIng people to move old cars and trailers from the tho streets |
