Show Young Mothers participate in reading month Its It's Lets Read Together month in inthe inthe the Uintah School District and the Young Mothers adult education pro pro- program program gram is In full participation During November the students will be reading silently for twenty minutes each day as well as participating In activities such as a book exchange a poster con con- contest contest test and a field trip to the public library The highlight of Lets Read Together month will be on the Wednes- Wednes Wednesday Wednesday day before Thanksgiving when the students and their children will come to school dressed as their favorite literary characters The women will also read with their children each day as part of National Childrens Children's Book Week November 19 1519 Young Mothers is open to any mother or expectant mother regardless of age who does not have a high school diploma This is a daytime program and pre pre- preschool preschool school children and infants come to school with their mothers Child care is provided Young Mothers is held at the Uintah Adult Education Center 1077 North 2500 West with classes meeting from am to pm Monday through Thursday Catherine Anderson is the home economics instructor and head teacher For information about Young Mothers call her at or Rhoda DeVed at the Uintah School District Office Of- Of Office fice |
