| Show Class of 57 Reunion I Here Sept 1 1 One of the social highlights of the summer season was held Saturday September I 1 when the Class of 57 met for Its year 5 reunion The reunion began with registration and a picnic at Merkley Park There was a business meeting conducted and the following people were elected to head the 10 year reunion Kathy Reynolds Donna Merrell and Dorothy Hein Hem In the evening a dance was held at the Kiwanis Scout Lodge Court acted as master of ceremonies for the intermission program Eula Rae Walker and Court Anderson were awarded the prize for being the most chan changed ged Jeanene Davis and Mike Murphy for being the least changed Leon Moon had the most children Betty Detty Merrell had been married the long long- est eat Janice Mace Nelson hay hay- havIng haying Ing traveled the farthest and Burton Smith having lost the most hair The reunion was deemed a tremendous success with Dean Lundell as president Karen Hacking vice president La- La LaRena LaRena Rena Caldwell secretary and Dorothy Fisher as general chairman III BEAUX ARTS Beaux Deaux Arts Club held its annual summer party recent ly In the lovely yard of Dr and Mrs Dan Q Price The guests enjoyed swimming playing games and a delicious barbecue The remainder of the evening was spent visiting around the fireplace Special guests for the Ule event were Mr and Mrs Clair R Hopkins of Salt Lake City and formerly of Vernal Mrs Hopkins was formerly a member of the Beaux Deaux Arts Club Mr and Mrs Leon Mitch Mitch- ell eli are moving to Phoenix Arizona soon Mr Mitchell has been employed at the Vernal Hotel s cook Mrs Mitchell is employed in Ash Ash- Ashton's tons ton's ladles ladies ready wear They een residents of Vernal for the past sixteen years yean |
