Show Basin nurses i i i Igl given n baby care workshop Twenty-seven Twenty II R Ns N.'s and and student nurses took advantage of or the recent workshop presented by the University of Utah College of ot Nursing and the vocational center In The nurses from Crom Vernal and Roosevelt were pleased with the presentation and feel lee I they learned a great deal which will apply to their jobs I EVEN WIZEN WHEN Infants must be transported to the Intensive Newborn Unit at the university the staff here must be prepared to care care for these infants until the team arrives The nurses all feel fortunate that they are able to have these workshops presented to the area and keep community nursing at a first rate level The Nurses Association of Uintah Basin will hold a Christmas party at the home of Kay Harmston Roosevelt December 16 from 5 2 pm p.m. All nurses of the area are invited to attend and visit Jean Osborne president of the Utah Nurses Association and Bea Davis director of Public Health Salt Lake County These ladies are anxious to meet the nurses Inthe in inthe inthe the area and have agreed to come come at this time They will discuss the recently passed Nurse Practice Act and any other concerns of nursing |
