Show i r 1 I II I M y I I If f MYRTLE MAY SPROUSE succumbs succumbs suc- suc Sunday Funeral Services Held For Lapoint Pioneer Final rites were held Wednesday at 1 pm in the Ashley Stake Center for Myrtle May Johnson Sprouse 86 of Lapoint who died Sunday at the Uintah Uintah Uin Uin- tah County Hospital of natural causes MRS SPROUSE was born August 8 8 1884 in Vernal to Alfred Summers and Deborah Elizabeth Hardy Johnson and was the youngest child of a family of 12 She married William Sprouse April 14 14 1902 In Price He lie died February 2 2 1943 She settled in Lapoint in 1906 where she served as the first Primary president for nine years She served as visiting teacher for forthe forthe forthe the Relief Society for over 50 years years' and taught special interest groups in the theMIA MIA MM for seven years She he was on the committe e to raise funds for the Lapoint Ward Chapel and served as director and later as secretary for the Lapoint Water Users She helped in getting a paved road lights and telephones to Lapoint A CAPTAIN of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers she helped put in the tho monument which was put in La La- point She ran a store in Lapoint under th th name of Sprouse and Sons for about 35 years years' Survivors include sons sons daughters Clive Salt Lake City Ray Flagstaff Arizona Ersel E E.
