Gardiner 20 who was killed April 18 in Vietnam while he was serving with Co C C. C 2nd BatIn 3rd In In- lantry Light Infantry Bri Bri- gade A native of Vernal Mr Gardiner was born May 17 1949 to Mr and Mrs Gail Gall W W. Gardiner He lie had been in the service service ser ser- vice for 18 months SURVIVORS include his brothers and three sisters Ivan Edgar Ed Leonard Betty Cook Brenda Nancy all of Vernal grandparents Mr and Mrs William Gardiner Vernal The services were conducted by Bishop Bishop Bis Bis- hop Marvin Jackson of Davis Ward Douglas Cook gave the prayer at the mortuary Verdin Manwaring l gave the opening prayer Oh My Father was sung by Verdin Goodrich and Norman Moslem Haslem accompanied by Claudine Mer Her 11 rill Prelude and postlude music was by Dorothy Merrell SPEAKERS WERE Ashel Manwaring and Art Boren In In Gods God's s Other Room was sung by Mr and Mrs Glade Sow Sow- ards accompanied by Luane Larsen Mr Goodrich and Mr sang GoIng Going Go Go Going ing Home followed by the benediction by Wilford Olsen The grave in the Vernal Memorial Park was dedicated by Bishop Don Gardiner Gard Gard- iner Pallbearers were Don Wilson W Wade ade Bowthorpe Randy Simmons LaNoy Wy Wy- asket Jerry Eaton and Douglas McConkie McCon McCon- kie Honorary pallbearers were David Coon Greg Simmons Morgan Caldwell and Steve Reynolds ATTENDING THE services from out of town were Mrs George Hemstock Oroville California the B B.
