Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Dear Editor An open letter to the School Board of Uintah School District Many of us who have children children child child- ren in school received from them a pink paper Each child gave Instructions that we were to fill in answers to to the questions questions questions ques ques- right away so he could return it to the teacher who needs it It What we would like to know knowis is what do the questions about whom we work for about the property we own or use and the place where we live have to do with the teaching of the child child- ren Who wants to know Who made the decision to ask these questions Who made the decisIon decision decision ion that Uintah School District District District Dist Dist- apply for additional funds through Public Law which is concerned with non taxable non taxable federal properties We are re simply simply sim sim- ply taxpayers and parents who are Interested in knowing how our money Is being used by public public pub pub- lic lie servants to serve our best Interests Is this an opportunity for us to get some extra money money without having to pay additional taxes Is this Federal Government Government Govern Govern- ment money If so where does the Federal Government get the money to give to us It has hasto hasto hasto to take from people that which it gives to people and Inthe in inthe inthe the process process' of transferring by force the funds from one group of people to another It loses about 40 per cent in administrative tive costs Why should Uintah School District participate in such a foolish system Should Uintah School District become In piecemeal fashion dependent upon Washington D.C. D.C. D. D C.
