Show Sweepstakes winners in art announced The 1974 Uintah County Fair Art Exhibit closed Saturday at noon when artists from Uintah County and Dutch John reclaimed reclaimed reclaimed re re- re- re claimed their paintings About 55 paintings were displayed by local artists in the junior high cafeteria according to Mrs Boyd J. J Redden Hedden and Darla DarIa Chevalier chairwomen for this years year's event Although this was the smallest number of paintings exhibited in recent years the show displayed very nice talent from elementary age children through adult professional divisions Several ribbons were given in the following fallowing divisions Elementary Jr High School 4 4 H H. H High School Adult Amateur Division and Adult Professional Division TilE THE JUDGE for this years year's show was Douglas Lee from the House douse of Fine Arts in Heber Reber City The Best of Show award was presented to Linda Lee for her oil painting Dancing Around the Basket David Ahrnsbrak won the adult professional division sweepstakes with a smaller picture entitled Early Vernal Buggy The sweepstakes for forthe forthe forthe the adult amateur division went to Nelson Marshall for his work entitled Indians Other sweepstakes winners were Steve Kropp for Desert Vision in the high school division Sharon Chevalier in t fW i 1 t bb E t l I I 7 A Gil i r I I t f f r v I yes a I t I ly I r L.
