C Kay Bishop Dallas H. H Merrell officiated The opening hymn In the Garden was sung by a quartet Glade Southam Lester Dee Manwaring and Orlo Orbo Goodrich They were accompanied by Mrs Earl Merrill INVOCATION was pronounced by Steve Hunting The first speaker was Orlo Orbo Goodrich followed by Arthur and Norman Haslem who sang Silver Haired Daddy of Mine Benediction was by Heber Harrison Larry dedicated the grave Prelude and postlude music was by Mrs Earl Merrill Pallbearers were Michael George Kimball Joe Kessler Baker III Durrell Roy Russell James Ellifritz John Harvey Estes and Heber H. H Petty Jr all grandsons Tim THE NAPLES Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers and also served lunch at atthe atthe atthe the home of James Ellifritz town Out-of-town guests were Mr and Mrs Wilber Maggie Duncan Terry Kimball of Hayden Colorado Mrs Ethel King Kansas Clifta Clift a Ft Kansas and Joe Baker III III Coronado California Mr Kimball was born in Riverside Wyoming February 12 1904 to Joe E. E and Nova Mayhorn Kimball When age 24 he married Goldie S. S Winfrey in Topeka Kansas In the next 7 years their three children Pat Clifton and Vicky were born to them When Vicky the youngest was 18 months old they moved to Steamboat Springs Colorado near his people and started working in inthe inthe inthe the coal and hard rock mines HE liE WORKED as a mechanic and electrician at these jobs He was noted as a man who never missed a working day unless he was very ill which in all was only three or four weeks in about 50 years When unable to work any longer with black lung and emphysema they retired to Vernal in April of 1965 where their two daughters were and the climate was better for him himas as his son was living in Telluride Colorado at a very high altitude Clifton was baptized a member of the Church July 3 1971 at the Uintah Stake Center and died December 24 in the Uintah County Hospital He is survived by his wife Goldie three children Pat Ellifritz Clifton L.
