Show r ks 0 t I n Kathy Swett honored at bridal shower Kathy Swett was honored at a miscellaneous shower held at Union High library recently Her ller fiance Ciance Abraham Gileadi was a speaker at the Whiterocks Branch December 9 Miss Swett and Mr Gileadi were married December 22 in inI inthe I the Provo Temple and a reception was held that night at atthe atthe atthe the Reynold Brown home in Orem Mr Gileadi is a student at BYU Bru and will continue his studies there They will make their home In Provo Ralph and Lynette Wright and Mr and Mrs Paul Whiting of the Neola Ward have been called to work in the Whiterocks branch Mr Whiting was sustained as second counselor to President Dale Harrison and Ralph was sustained as branch clerk Lloyd Swain of oC Vernal was released and John Larsen who has served as clerk was released These people have served 2 24 4 years in the branch Mrs Wright and Mrs Whiting will be working in the organizations also TilE THE BRANCH Relief Society held a special Christmas luncheon luncheon luncheon lun lun- lun- lun cheon December 19 About 30 women were in attendance A film was also shown Marlene Kull Hull spent the holidays in California with her family Camily THE TILE VERL received a telephone call from Crom Parsons Tennessee December 26 that a former Cormer resident of oC this area Jay C C. C Richardson had been killed in a car accident Christmas night He is survived by his wife Linda and four Cour children The Richardsons lived in the basement several years ago and he was employed in this area They are former members of the Whiterocks Ward Alfred Helquist had major surgery on his knee at the Hospital in Salt Lake City recently He was able to come home for Christmas Daughters Kathy and Pam Mr and Mrs Morris Pitcher of Logan and Mr and Mrs Reed Hartle gathered at their home for Christmas Mr and Mrs Alfred Helquist announce the engagement of their daughter Pamelia to Douglas Selly of oC Logan They plan an April wedding Mrs Helquist visited her parents the Ivan voer the holidays Mari Duncan and Amy Cesspooch were met at the Salt Lake Airport by Marls Mans parents as they flew from Kanosh Wisconsin for Cor the holidays They are enrolled at a school there The Lynn of ot Denver were recent guests at the Verl VerI Haslem home The Owen visited at Leland home for Cor Christmas Mr and Mrs John are the parents of a new baby babygirl girl The now have three daughters |
