Show Glines Aycock Home Scene of Many lany Visitors By Arthella N Dearing Mr md and Mrs rd Aycock I had visitors over the weekend they were their son and his family Mr and Mrs Max Ay Aycock cock ock Jenny Aycock the Ed ward Aycocks Aycock's daughter came home borne from school in Cedar City and plans to spend the summer here at her parents parent's home in Glines Jenny was accompanied ed home by Sherrill Lamb who brought her home Mrs Aycock and Mrs Max Aycock motored to Provo for fora fora a visit Mrs Harry Irons the grandmother of Mrs Max Son Son- Sonia ia Aycock returned home to Vernal with them She will visit there for a while Mike and Jeff Swain grand sons of Mr and Mrs Kenneth and sons of Mr and Mrs Frank Swain returned to their home in Bingham C Canyon nyon last week after attending the wedding reception of their cou cou- cou cousin sin Sally Swain and James K Olsen on Friday evening They have been visiting with the Mr and Mrs Chad Orton and family Suzanne and Gary have been gone for a week They motored to Logan where Mr Orton attended a work shop for educators of Utah for a few days The Ortons then traveled to Richfield where they visited with Mrs Ortons Orton's parents Mr and Mrs Wendell Anderson They attended the wedding anniversary party and family dinner celebration of Mrs Ortons parents Mr and Mrs Orton then tra to St George where he attended a counselors confer ence They visited in Parowan with Mr Ortons Orton's parents Mr md and Mrs Claude Orton While at the attending meetings the Ortons attended a smorgasbord that was served to the people in the Utah Vocation Association I Marion Marlon W Hap Swain is rel re- re recovering covering at the St Marks hospi- hospi hospital tal in Salt Lake from an emer gency operation last week Mrs Swain has been in Salt Lake staying with her husband Mr and Mrs Ab Price and family were served a dinner Sunday at their home in Glines Those children present were Mr and Mrs Glen Mecham and andson andson son Cary of Logan Mr and Mrs Lynn Mecham and family and Mr and Mrs Reginald Burchinal and family They spent the afternoon visiting and getting acquainted with their grandchildren Mrs Marion Swain is ering from an ulcer attack suf last Saturday afternoon I She is at the Uintah County Hospital Mr and Mrs Dallon Jesson were delighted to have her fa fa- fa father ther and two sisters Tauna and Karolee of Hurricane visit with them this ails last weekend A week ago Mrs lesson Jesson va rationed in Hurricane with her parents Mr and Mrs Keith Hall Halland Halland and Mr Jesson's parents Mr and Mrs Ellis Jesson She motored to Hurricane with the senior a week ago Mr and Mrs Edward H Abplanalp received word that their son law Byron Merrell while on National Guard duty at atthe atthe the Bear Lake area received an injury to his hand while in the process of throwing a training hand grenade He is at the Veterans Veteran's hospi tal and will soon be released to his home in Salt Lake The blow of the damage is not com com- completely completely known at the present pr sent time although the doctors have strong hopes of Mr Merren Merrell using all of his fingers Lloyd Dow is still recovering as well as can be expected at ata ata a hospital in Salt Lake He is responding to medication and is somewhat improved |
