Show I 'Bingham Ward Relief Society held their regular work day last Tuesday. A lesson in home management man-agement was also given by Mrs. ! MaRee Nelson and a delicious j luncheon was served at noon. 'Members thin pleasantly surprised sur-prised Mrs. Ruth Stevenson with ' a stork shower. A very enjoyable day was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks and ; son, J. D. of Portage spent last I week end visiting with Mrs. Hawks' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Morris. Sunday visitors and dinner j guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Nerdin were Mrs, Ner-din's Ner-din's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ken .Roberts of American Fork. LOCAUJOTES Bingham LOS Mia Maids Hold Roso Evening Mia Maids of Bingham Ward held their rose evening in the Relief Society room of the church Tuesday evening. Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson welcomed the girls and their mothers, the bishopric, mutual mu-tual presidency and counselors. Opening song End of A Perfect Day" was rendered by Mary Agnes Jacobson, accompanied by Ellen Beth Thomas, followed by a talk "How To Become A Mia Joy" by Ellen Beth Thomas. A very heart wanning talk on personality per-sonality and charm was given by Miss Virginia Harris who presented pre-sented each girl and mother with ' a white rose and each girl a rose booklet. The girls in turn pre- uiinfari tHAir mAfhors with a rati rose from the Mia Maid rose bouquet. Carma Rey gave the closing prayer. Light refresh-1 tnents were served from a lace! covered table decorated with I white tapers and a rose center- i piece to Mary Agnes Jacobson, I Ellen Beth Thomas, Carol Dean! Sanchez, LaDean Ham, Carma ! Kay, Mrs. S. L. Thomas, Mrs. A. O. Jacobson, Mrs. Tony Sanchez, . Mrs. Dean Ham, Mrs Gordon i Jensen, Mrs. R. G. Steele, Bishop W. H. Harris, Miss Harris and Mrs. Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Reid vis- j ited in Salt Lake City Monday evening with Glen Stone who is in the hospital and later the same evening with Mrs. J. C. Donaldson. |
