wiley pope attends S L outdoor conference wiley pope attended a utah young outdoor americans conference at the capitol building in salt lake city saturday lie ile represented the uintah county 4 11 II clubs and met with 17 youths from other counties throughout the state according to wm win farnsworth county agent hosts of the conference were members of the forest service from logan who conducted a I morning and afternoon meeting in the governors board room where the boys each gave a 5 minute talk on their experiences in soil and water conservation and participated in panel and roundtable round table discussions on the same subject between meetings those present were guests of the forest service at a luncheon at the hotel temple square wiley was accompanied by his hig parents mr and mrs lloyd T pope wiley has been a member of a 4 1 11 garden club for the past 3 years winning ribbons on exhibits each year he was president of his club one year and reporter two years he fie served as mayor of the county 4 11 club camp in the high cintas last summer active in school and church wiley is manager of the stage crew at ashley valley junior high where he is an honor student in the ath grade he ile is a member of the uintah high school band orchestra and pep band he lie is secretary of his teachers quorum in naples ward priesthood organist and a member of the cheor of both his ward and he lie is also a life scout and a cub scout den chief
