Linger Longer club members were entertained by Mrs. Frank Prescott at the home of Mrs. J. T. Davis Tuesday night. Mrs. Dorothy Byrne was a special guest. Prizes at contract bridge were awarded to Mrs. H. R. Gust, Mrs. John Nilsson, Mrs. Ross Cushing and Mrs. Byrne won the bingo prize. Mystery sister gifts were exchanged. Monte Carlo whist was played with prizes going to Mrs. Roberta Wallace and Mrs. Agnes Johnston. Mrs. Alva Ev- - ans won the bingo prize. Table centerpiece was a bride's cake made of angel food cake center-ed with a bride doll beautifully decorated with confection icing which was presented to the hon-- 1 or guest. Favors were miniature! organdy umbrellas in nut cups. A delicious shrimp salad, rolls, coffee and individually decorat-ed cup cakes were served. Guests were members of the evening1 bridge club to which the hon-oree- 's mother belongs. Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Reid attended several events honoring Mrs. Clara Gentry Reid Donel-son'- s 80th birthday anniversary which she observed April 20th. Mrs. Donelson is Don's and Clif-ford's mother. A luncheon was given in her honor last Wednes-day at which twenty guests were present. Further honoring her was a family dinner party given Saturday evening and an open LOCALNOTES Mrs. Rosella Rauer and Mrs. Nellie Chesler entertained at a lovely postnuptial shower in Clyde Olson. Mrs. Thomas re-ceived many lovely gifts. Enjoying dinner and a show in Salt Lake City Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Coleman and daughter Rena Joy and Bobbie Lee Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Skinner re-turned Tuesday from Long Beach, Calif., where they have been guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lamoreaux for the past two weeks. Mrs. Lam-oreaux is the former Bonnie Skinner of Copperton. The Study Guild met at the home of Mrs. Lucille Brisk with Mrs. Norma Nichols as last Monday evening.
