Show won the ladies high over all and was first in the ladies sliding handicap. In the 50 bird, 16 yard event, she got 50 out of 50. Mrs. Virginia Wells entertained entertain-ed at her home on Tuesday, August Aug-ust 5th for her club. Bridge was played after which a dainty dessert des-sert was served. Prizes were a-warded a-warded to Mrs. Margaret Du-Bois, Du-Bois, first; Mrs. Mary Jo Rub-right, Rub-right, consolation and Mrs. Elaine Brownson, bingo. Others present were Mrs. Betty Gillam, LARK NEWS Joy Seal 901J1 Mrs. Sidney Arnold returned home Wednesday, August 6th from a visit to Anaconda, Mont., with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Davis. Mr. Arnold joined her for the trip home. Mrs. Davis will be remembered as the former Phyllis Reed of Lark. Mrs. Susan Weagel left Monday, Mon-day, August 4th to visit with relatives re-latives at Leamington. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson of Minneapolis, Minn., are visiting visit-ing here this month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Big-ler. Big-ler. Mrs. Peterson is the former Jayne Bigler of Lark. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Peterson left Monday morning, August 4 for California where they plan to visit with Mr. Peterson's 'brothers 'bro-thers and sisters and also with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Peterson at Alameda. They expect to be gone two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Christie and daughter Ann and Mr. Caywood, all of Butterfield canyon, returned re-turned home Sunday from Elko, Nev., where Ann participated in the Nevada open and eastern zone of the PITA trapshoot.
