Mrs. Venus Stoker and daughters, daugh-ters, Connie and Elsie, visited last week end with Mr. and Mrs. John Christensen of Logan. Connie Con-nie stayed to spend the week. A wonderful outing was enjoyed enjoy-ed by the Copperton ward MIA at Liberty park in Salt Lake City Tuesday, August 5th. Copperton Ward Relief Society Due to Kennecott Copper Field day which is being held August 12th, Relief Society work day has been changed to Wednesday, August 13th, starting at 9:00 a.m. There will be quilting, picture making, pillow and corsage making mak-ing and embroidering. These activities ac-tivities will be. under the direction direc-tion of Sister Lucinda Olsen. Donald Junior Stoddard, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Stoddard, is now home following his discharge dis-charge from the U. S. Navy at Norfolk, Va. Donald together with his wife who met him at Denver, arrived home Monday. At present the couple are making mak-ing their home in Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Smith, Mrs. Norman T. Jacobsen and children, child-ren, Lorie and Sandra, and Miss Nellie Smith returned home last Mrs. J. R. Wing were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Pingree and daughters, dau-ghters, Karen and Debra of Roy.
