Labrum had two homers in the game. The Basin Bailers-Young's Paint game was only a consolation game and the loser returned home, but the encounter en-counter would have to be given membership in the Strange and Unusual Hall of Fame as the game contained almost everything a Softball fan could hope for. Bill Wilson singled and scored on a base hit to give Young's Paint an early ear-ly 1-0 lead, but the Softball fireworks didn't start exploding until the top of the third inning. Young's Paint committed com-mitted two outs, but shocked the Bailers with three homers in a row by Burke Buckalew, Danny Long and Brent Labrum for a 4-0 lead. The Bailers retired Bill Wilson to get out of the inning. Tony Wright was the Bailer pitcher, who gave up the three homers to Young's Paint in the top of the third inning, in-ning, but he gained revenge when he struck for a home run. The Bailers scored another run to cut the Young lead to two runs at 4-2 and then a two run homer by Arvel Tassainer over the right field fence tied up the game at 44 in the bottom of the third inning. Levi Smuin hit the telephone pole in an attempt at-tempt to get to the ball. A great play by Long at second base robbed a base hit from Ron Baker, but I . f ' -r - .... ... ...v - ..... . .. . . . . .. . . . .... - ...s ... ..? .. . : . ; ... " . ...v . . ..."
