Show University Women What sort of family arrangement characterizes your living style? What domestic and employment arrangements ar-rangements are required? How have economic and technological developments influenced those arrangements? ar-rangements? Who responds to your needs? Who is minding the children? Who provides the caring? How are things in your neighborhood? Who is mopping the floor? These questions sound familiar to you? Do you wonder how you can change or improve your arrangement? Do you wonder how others feel? Do you feel as though you are the only one facing these frustrations? These questions and others similar were the focus of the ASUW Centennial Convention held in Boston in 1981, and will be dealt with again in another teleconference from San Francisco in June 1983. The Uintah Basin Branch of the American Association of University Women will be viewing and discussing a videotape, including vignettes on women and work, finance, and the family at their regular branch meeting to be held Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the library of Ashley Elementary School, 350 N. 1300 W., Vernal. The branch business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The major items of business will be the upcoming used book sale, adopting a service project, plans for February and March meetings, and Women's History Week. The videotape will begin at 7:30 p.m. Men and women of the community are invited to take part with us in discussing and viewing this videotape program. |
