Show Softballs fly in league warfare Young's Paint and High Country are tied for first place in Division 1 in the Vernal Men's Softball League with &-2 records. ERA at 8-3 and the Outsiders at 7-2 are half a game out of first place. The Diggers and Target Trucking are 5-5 and the Rippers are 3-6. SpidleJ&C Ent. is 2-7 and the Moonshiners are 2-8. Reid's Bailers are 1-8. Target Trucking knocked off last week's first place team High Country, 13 to 12 and Young's Paint beat the Moonshiners, 33-14 and Target Trucking, Truck-ing, 6-0. ERA thumped the Diggers, 19 to 9 and Reid's Bailers gained their first win of the season in league action when they beat SpidleJ&C Ent., 13-4. ERA toppled the Rippers, 9-3 and the Outsiders thumped the Moonshiners, 12 to 3. High Country beat the Diggers, 9-5. Utah Power and Light is 3-4. Dowell is 4-7. Bonanza Miners and Morcon Jiggers are 3-7. White River Shalers are 1-9. Utah Power and Light shined bright due to a 11-3 win over Dowell and Salty Sal-ty Oaks beat Chevron, 12 to 9, in nine innings. P&P Well Service pumped Bonanza Miners dry for a 12 to 2 win and Jelco beat Morcon, 17 to 7, Tuesday. Chevron beat Morcon, 15 to 14 and Circle K defeated the Bonanza Diggers, Dig-gers, 5 to 3. While River Shalers pocketed their first league win when they knocked off Jelco, 17 to 15. Salty Oaks defeated Dowell, 14 to 12.
