Show ! ; -''3 t... T---i I'-.'- ; k VI -i vV I CHARLES (Bill) HARRISON Charles Harrison service held Monday Charles William (Bill) Harrison, 61, of Vernal died at his home Jan. 18, 1982. Born Aug. 27, 1920 in Bennett, Utah. He was the son of John and Laura Beatrice Neal Harrison. He married Connie Bromley in September of 1946. After their divorce, he married Linda Jo Swain Jan. 3, 1972 in Las Vegas , Nev. He was a quality control technician in the Department of Transportation for 29 years. He was a veteran of World War II, member of Ashley Ward and former member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of Vernal, sons and daughter, W. R. Rod Harrison, Rock D. Harrison, Randy J. Harrison, all of Duchesne, Rex V. Harrison of Orem, Tracy C. Harrison and Chuck G., both of Vernal; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ross (Vera) Snow of Jensen, Mrs. Vern (Laura) Thompson, Norris W., Daniel, all of Vernal; Harvy V., Oak-dale, Oak-dale, Calif., Howard E., Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Harold (Virginia) Steward of Palermo, Calif., and Mrs. Bud (Dorothy) Cramer of Ontario, Calif. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 1, in the Ashley Ward Chapel. William Rod Harrison, his son, gave the family prayer. Bishop D. Linford Batty officiated the service. Ronnie and Lana Walker sang "Whispering Pines" and Rock Harrison, his son, gave the invocation. Following remarks by Bishop Batty, Don Harrison, a brother, spoke. "These Hands" and "Beyond the Sunset," were jsung by Mr. and Mrs. Walker and Arthur Schaefermeyer spoke. Harvey Harrison gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Wilma Davidson. Rex Harrison dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park. Pallbearers were W. Rodney Harrison, Rex V. Harrison, Rock D. Harrison, Randall J. Harrison, Harvey |
