His name will be Matthew Jay Simper. Grandparents Grand-parents are Dan and Phylis Turner and Jay and Lois Simper. Great grand-parets grand-parets are Edith Gale and Alfred Simper of Davis. George and Vera Kenison from Olym-pia, Olym-pia, Washington arrive on Friday May 1 to visit Elmer and Theo Linds, Murle Bodily and Jim and Vida Clark. They have been vacationing along the way, first in California then Provo and Bluebell. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Duvall from Moses Lake, Washington, and Bob and Doris Blizzard from Denver, visited with Lynn and Beulah McConkie and attended attend-ed the funeral for Ashel Manwaring, Mrs. Duvall's brother. Marsha Fox, from Salt Lake City, visited with the Roger Hacking family on Sunday. Dwayne Thomas has returned home from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho for the summer. Virginia Adams accompanied her sister, Carma Preece, to Salt Lake City Friday, May 2 returning on Saturday. Mark and Ranee Feltch along with sons Dylan and Nathan Andrew from Brideport, Washington visited with Brent and Carol Feltch while here for Fran Feltch's funeral last week. Edith Goodrich from Bountiful, Forrest For-rest and Ethel Goodrich from Tridell, Clark and Edna Jones and son Paul Jones from Idaho Falls, Idaho visited with Sadie McConkies family and attended at-tended her funeral. Lester Maxfield from Altonah visited his sister Ardelta Timothy and Anna Oldham last week. Wayne and Olive Preston have returned from a trip to Old Mexico. JoLynn Corey took her husband to Salt Lake City where he had tests, she returned Sunday. David stayed on to have back surgery on Tuesday, May 7. David's brother and wife, Cecil and Romany Corey from Davenport, Washington spent a week visiting. Meriel Hacking, Joy Horrocks, and Donna Merrill went to Utah State University Saturday, May 2 where they attended the mothers and daughters party. Shara Hacking is the daughter of Meriel Hacking, Nancy Merrill the daughter of Donna Merrill and Sidney Horrocks is the daughter of Joy Horrocks. New residents are Heber and Bell Tipton children Samanta 9, Melvin 7, and Shannan 6, moving herefrom Roosevelt. They were originally from Montana and now live east of Mr. Dee Hall. Mark and Mary Ann Raymond and son from Salt Lake City will be living at her grandmother Sadie McConkies home in Dry Fork Canyon. Lois Coombs from Honeyville, Utah is spending a week with her son and family, Bryce and Karen Coombs and children. Keith and Rene Shipley of Montrose, Colorado visited over the weekend with Robert and Trudy Roelofsz. Mr. Shipley and Robert enjoyed a fishing trip at Flaming Gorge. Mrs Herbert Troester had surgery at the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City Ci-ty Mr Troester brought her home Tuesday, May 7, where she will have a period of convalesence. |
