Show Summer day camps planned for ages 8-12 Survival techniques, camping skills, first aid and many other skills will be taught during week-long summer day camps provided by the Uintah School District in conjunction with Community Schools. The camps will be open to all children between 8 and 12 years old. The sessions will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. weekdays. The session will be June 9-13, June 16-- 16-- 20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28- Aug. 1 and Aug. 4-8. The camps will alternate their locations between Ashley and Naples Elementary Elemen-tary schools. Registration for the classes will be May 12 and 13 at the Uintah School District Board Office during regular office hours. Registration forms are being distributed in the school and with $25 tuition, should be turned in to Marlene Atwood when registering. John Davisson, art teacher at Uintah High School, Prent Klag, fifth grade teacher at Naples, and Glenna Huff, Media Coordinator at Naples Elementary will direct the day camp activities. Ostrich eggs may be eight inches long and weigh three pounds. The newborn chick can be a foot tall.
