E Long while plant manager Fred Riding happily looks on The savings bond is being presented to Hoyle for his selection of safety employee for forthe forthe forthe the month of May This is the second time Hoyle has been selected safety employee of the month and quite an honor to do doso doso doso so especially for the final month of his employment before retirement He lie has served his entire time at Stauffer without having a lost time accident Along with the savings bond he will also receive a piece of luggage Hoyle is a Chief Operator in the con concentrator a a position he has held for several years AND NI his wife Rose live in Jensen on what is part of Mrs Robinsons Robinson's grandparents original homestead They both have spent all their years living in the Vernal and Jensen area Their parents were also born bornand bornand and raised in the area surrounding northeastern Utah and northwestern Colorado Hoyles Hoyle's father being the first white child born in Craig Colorado Hoyle says as far as he is concerned Jensen will always be his home His interests are fishing and most sports with rodeos being at the top of the list He has a son who spent nearly 10 years as a professional rodeo performer When asked about some of the outstanding highlights concerning concerning concerning con con- Stauffer and his his' work here for the past 14 14 1412 years he stated that he was happy to have taken part in helping the operation grow from what it was when he started to its present size lIe He states stales that the most outstanding outstanding out out- standing achievement for him personally was establishing a Plant Production Record in 1967 of which he is very proud Hoyle says he has enjoyed the years at al Stauffer He lie has lias liked the work and that his fellow workers have been a great bunch of guys A good dependable hard working group No doubt he states that he will miss being involved in inthe inthe inthe the goings going's on up there on the hill Asked as to his future plans he said that they hope to do some traveling probably mostly by plane and of course do some fishing and take care of his small farm Hoyle also shears sheep when time permits permits permits per per- mits and no doubt will continue doing some work along this lin line each spring for some time to come All employees at Stauffer join to wish Hoyle success in his retirement years We also extend our appreciation to him for his many years of service to our company |
