Show j 1 J vA i J Relief Society carnival a success The annual Relief Society Carnival was held Friday Night April 15 at the Manila church Different booths were displayed which included fish fishpond fishpond fishpond pond bake sale dip dime-a-dip dinner rummage sale and a handicrafts table Many people turned out to the carnival and it was very successful The Duane Lamb family traveled to Montrose Colorado where they attended the wedding reception of the former Nancy Floyd daughter of Mr and Mrs Marriot Floyd of Montrose Tracy Lamb was one of her bridesmaids Nancy had been married in the Salt Lake Temple the previous week On their way home the Lamb family stopped in Rangely to visit Mr and Mrs Grant Peel Mr Peel was the former music teacher in Manila and he was everyone's friend HILLIS has been in a Salt Lake hospital the past week undergoing medical treatment Her two daughters Bobbie Reich and Elaine Lund ha have ve been with her Mr and Mrs Coddle of Salt Lake have been staying at the Cloyd Reed home Mrs Coddle is Cloyds Cloyd's mother Clyde who as been Ina in ina ina a Salt Lake hospital for almost two months with a serious leg infection is reported doing well Mr and Mrs Paul Hayes and family of Duchesne were in Manila for the weekend working on their home NEW STUDENT body of have been chosen for the year of 1978 1973 Receiving the honors were Lesa Tinker president i Chad Reed Heed vice vice- president i Louise Neff secretary j Lisa Wilde historian Mr and Mrs Rodney Schofield of Vernal were in Manila for the weekend visiting friends and relatives Mr and Mrs Neal Tuft have moved to Evanston Wyoming Their son son Neville will be staying at the Carl Collett CoUett home until school lets out |
