Show Tampa, Texas, were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever last Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever enjoyed a lovely visit Wednesday Wednes-day evening with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever Cheev-er and sons, Ronald and Gary. Shirley Cheever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever, left Monday, September 22, for Provo where j she will attend Brigham Young University this year. Dr. and Mrs. C. R. Brown and daughter Cindy Lee arrived from Staten Island, N. Y., to visit here for a month. They are guests of Mrs. Brown's i parents, Mr. "and Mrs. W. R. Jenkins and plan to visit in Richfield with Dr. Brown's parents. From here they will go to their new home in San Francisco, Calif., at the Marine and Navy hospital there. Miss Marian Day of Salt Lake City was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jenkins. . Richard Jenkins was home last week end on a 72-hour pass which he spent with Miss Marian Day and his folks, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jenkins. He left Sunday to return to San Francisco. Wednesday evening guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jenkins were Mr. and Mrs. Le-roy Le-roy Day and Miss Marian Day of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Bertha Brunson of Mid-vale Mid-vale was Sunday guest of her son, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jenkins and family. Murphy of Springfield and Mrs. Myrtis Mullin of Chandleville, 111. Mr. Sours also visited in Havana with an old schoolmate, Scott Lukas, senator from Illinois. Illi-nois. Mr. and Mrs. Rulen Robbins of Pleasant Grove and Mr. and Mrs. William Giles and Mrs. Dave Murdock of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Skinner. Mrs. Lucille Brisk was hostess to her bridge club on Sept. 15th. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Ada Carrigan, first; Mrs. Agnes Johnston, second; and Mrs. Ber-nice Ber-nice Ldycock, bingo. Others present pres-ent were Mrs. Nona Carrigan, Mrs. Iola Tatton, Mrs. Edith Scussel, Mrs. Esther James and Mrs. Ruth Jacques. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served. 1 1 A party was given for Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell on their 28th wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Monte Jones of Riverton Tuesday night. Besides the honored guests those present were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cowdell, Cow-dell, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cowdell, Mr. and Mrs. Jones and Denny of Riverton and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calderwood and Robbie of Provo. After supper Carl showed his moving pictures. Mr. and Mrs. EldOn Anderson and children and . Mrs. Daisy Draper of Provo were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell. Mr. and Mrs. David O. Fike and family were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Davis and sons, Kenny and Tommy, of Midvale enjoyed Friday evening visiting at the home of Mr. and MrsW. A. Fike. Mrs. W.. A. Fike entertained for her son Bill on his twelfth birthday anniversary. Those attending at-tending were Richard McMullin, Kent Allsop, Kenny Davis, Ken-rty Ken-rty Pierce, Allen Brisk, Dee Lay-cock, Lay-cock, George Rekoutis, Douglas Tall, Michael Johnson, Lloyd Dean Boulton and David Butt. They all attended the show and later lovely refreshments wtre served. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jacobson enjoyed visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Chapman of American Fork Saturday. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray were Mrs. Calvin Foreman and sons, Billy and Dennis of Midvale. Thelma Quayle and daughter, Mrs. Leone Bennett of Garfield enjoyed Wednesday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sours. Miss Viola McDonald of Midvale Mid-vale and Mrs. Harry Sours spent the week end at Grand Junction, Colo., visiting with Mrs. Laura McDonald. Harry Sours returned home Monday from a vacation to Illinois Illi-nois where he visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sours (who sent their niece Vicky a lovely doll for her birthday) and Mrs. Grace |
