Show I Senior Citizens visit The Senior Citizens of Uintah County left Vernal on Sept 8 to see the There were 27 on the bus which traveled from Vernal to Rock Springs Wyoming over the new highway by way of the Flaming Gorge route A lunch break stop came between Rock Springs and Jackson Hole Wyoming They could give the Rock Springs back to the Indians as far as we all were concerned stated Marion Swain for the group The wind blew and there were no lawns or flowers TilE THE TOUR group arrived at Jackson Hole Wyoming at about 6 pm p.m. where the they stayed in motel rooms both nights of their trip After dinner some of the group went to a show Once Upon A Mattress at the Pink Garter show house Some went sight-seeing sight around the town There were many interesting shops and some of the buildings were the original buildings of the area The next day at al 9 am a.m. the group accompanied by guide Lena Mast saw places of interest interest interest in- in terest in the Teton Forest She told of a man who opened a smorgasbord restaurant and made a million dollars The next stop on the tour lour was Yellowstone Park where the group watched Old Faithful erupt For us who had neverseen neverseen never neverseen seen it before it was very beautiful said Marion stack Back at Jackson Hole tole part of the group went to the show The Ballad of Cat Ballou while others went shopping The Senior Citizens left for home on Sept 10 at 9 a m |
