Show With the 40th Infantry Div. in Korea Sgt. Shirel Busey of 339 Main, Bingham Canyon, has been awarded the Combat Infantryman In-fantryman Badge, symbol of the front line fighting man, while with the 40th Infantry Division in Korea. The badge shows a miniature Revolutionary War flintlock rifle mounted against a blue rectangle A silver wreath extends across the bottom and up the sides of the badge. The unit trained 16 months in 'Japan before it was committed to Korea in January. Sgt. Busey is a member of the 160th Infantry Regiment. mily of Copperton on April 1st were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Olson and family of Union, Mrs. Hanna Smith and Mrs. Jennie Erickson of Bingham and Mrs. Jack Hen-ning Hen-ning and children of Salt Lake City. Trie occasion celebrated Bobbie Johnson's 13th birthday. Mrs. J. W. Johnson was hostess hos-tess to a roller skating party at S . & M skating rink honoring her daughter Bobbie on her 13th birthday anniversary April 2nd. Guests were JoAnn Anderson, Charlene Foster, Rena Joy Coleman, Cole-man, Joan Cowdell, Maxine Garrett and Peggy Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Householder Household-er Sr. visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum of Lead Mine. Mrs. Donald G. Reid entertained entertain-ed at luncheon for Mrs. Lawrence Lawr-ence West, Mrs. Raymond B. Carter, Mrs. Clifford Reid, Mrs. Arthur Cook and her sister on Friday of last week. Watching conference on television and quilting were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Woodland received a telephone call Wednesday Wed-nesday morning from their daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Helen Pugh, of Beth-esda, Beth-esda, Md., wanting to know if they were all right that they had seen a picture of Bingham's flash flood of Tuesday in an eastern paper. j LOCAL NOTES j Mrs. Becky Jones was hostess to her club on Monday evening. Mrs. Nellie Chesler was an invited in-vited guest. Winning prizes at bridge were Mrs. Mary Zaccaria, Mrs. Doreen Delaney and Mrs. Betty Nichols. Lovely refreshments refresh-ments were served. !
