| Show PIONEER PASSIN ON funeral service held here monday afternoon for john carlton barraclough one of heavers old pioneers who died at the home 0 of t his son ron and wife mr air and mrs edmund barraclough at tooele thoele saturday morning after a short illness the cause of his death being a general disability ills body was brought back here for burial and the es were held in the east ward climp chapel under the direction of bishop george palco of the west ward music was furnished by a male quartet who sang oh my father thy will be done and when the mists were rolled away A vocal duet was sung by tholma thelma barton and cinda shipp prayers were offered by W S tolton nuil F T gunn the speakers wore were J L F coltun Tol tun and frank harris who spoke words word s of comfort and cheer to the berean I 1 ed ones tho the floral offerings rings were beautiful and the casket was borne by members of the Alacca maccabee bee lodge interment was made at it mountain view cemetery john carlton barraclough was born july 28 1847 in bradford adford Dr england and was the son of john 0 and harriet barraclough narra clough ile he catau camu to this country when nine years of age with his hb widowed mother an all two sisters annie and sarah eroma emma they settled first at salt lake city tha then a when it a young man lie he came to t beavor beaver and married miss jessie fish march 1882 who died august 1022 1922 eight children were the result of this marriage mr air was county clerk of beaver county for a number of years he was also a meri chant and had a store at the horn silver mine at frisco and one av ai austin nevada for several years ho he Is survived by his daughter mrs hattie of opportunity lW washington cwashington ond two sons edward barraclough of tooele thoele and ambrose Darra barraclough clough of morrissey and sister mrs airs annie fennemore of seattle washington |
