Show MAYOR APPEALS TO PUBLIC FOR FLOOD RELIEF AN APPEAL FROM MAYOR C. A. MORLEY IN CONJUNCTION CONJUNC-TION WITH THE STATEMENT OF GOV. J. BRACKEN LEE May 28, 1952 The Utah Flood Relief Committee Com-mittee was established to cooperate co-operate with and supplement existing agencies in providing funds for the relief of flood victims. The Committee and its staff are composed entirely entire-ly of volunteers and any and all funds it receives will be allocated for flood relief. I cannot praise too highly the work that has thus far been done by the LDS Church, the Red Cross, and by other groups and individuals who have devoted themselves untiringly un-tiringly and unselfishly in meeting the flood problem. It is our hope that this committee commit-tee may be of substantial aid in assisting these groups in furthering their work. This is truly a state-wide appeal to aid those of our citi-ens citi-ens who are in need because of the flood damage. As Mayor, I am calling upon industry and all citizen to contribute to the relief of the flood victims. Make all contributions to Mayor C. A. Morley's office at the- Canyon Motor Company. |
