| Show THE agricultural COLLEGE we hope the recommendation of governor wells in his message to lo the legislature regarding the agricultural collep college 0 will be adopted and that an amount will be a appropriated sufficient to keep the tha collage running until the legie legislature meets again it will be necessary for the present assembly to do something soon coon and make an appropriation adequate to the wants of the college col lege and it will be absolutely necessary for the state to take care of efthia this i grand gand institution for a few years or until the lands generously granted by congress are placed on the market and a fund realized there should be twenty five live thousand dollars donated for this purpose by the present legislature twelve thousand dollars a year will be ample to keep keel the good work going on the constitution settles the question of location and there will be no more fights between the college and the university we hope E each ach has hag its sphere and its needs and its rights the legislature cannot afford to ignore either |
