january 23 prayer was offered by senator chidester house bill 42 for an act amend ng ing section 4 of chapter 23 session laws aws of 1892 was reported by the house as having passed that body it was referred to the committee on ways and means senator jones chairman of the committee on private corporations on bet alf of the committee introduced senate bill 27 the measure is designed to repeal the law which directs that all edge ments on articles of incorporation shall be made before the probate judge 0 of the county and permit the county clerk or any notary tary public to do the work the bi the session or as soon as possible after the adjournment of the board of equalization iza tion the clerk shall enter upon said assessment roll all the changa and corrections made by the board and shall add up the columns of valuation and on or before the first day of september shall make and deliver to the tax collector a true copy of the corrected roll with the total amount of taxes to each person firm corporation or association carried out in separate money columns which copy shall be duly certified to by the clerk of the county court and he shall report to the auditor of public
