hands something 0 they have not been able to do for the past two years the democratic central city convention met in the court bouse Satur saturday dav oct 14 at lO 10 a m J 21 wilson read the call and on motion charles TI hart was elected temporary chairman and L R martincak Martin cau temporary secretary A committee of five on credentials was appointed by the chair as follows S hailstone wn edwards it kewley 0 eliason and A king 0 jr the following n gentlemen were appointed a committee on plat from and resolutions A G barber J II 11 paul joseph kimball edward hansen and N ill M hansen the platform plat lorm orm formulated by this committee and adopted by the convention appeared elsewhere in this paper the following committee on oil permanent organization organic aaion and order of alexander lewis received a majority of votes cast and was de declared the candidate ilis his election was rande made unanimous una namous FOR MARSHAL then followed tho the most spirited contest of the
