Show THE AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE.

The Agricultural College at Logan is making vast strides and will soon rank as one of the leading schools of America. President Sanborn has issued a circular announcing a winter course of free lectures, to commence January 5th and continue daily for ten weeks. There will be fifty lectures in agriculture, thirty in horticulture, ten in etomology, [entomology?] ten in botany, twenty in chemistry, and twenty in veterinary science.

The object of these lectures is to place within the reach of young farmers, or any others who have not the time, means or inclination to take a complete course in agriculture, the most important truths that bear upon the science and art of farming.

This is a new departure, and one which should, and no doubt will be highly appreciated by the public in general. Any further information relating to this, or any other subject pertaining to the College, will be cheerfully answered by addressing President Sanborn.-Brigham Report. |
