Show DIED: ORAM - In this city, August 30th, 1881, at 10:50? p.m., Sarah Oram, aged 61? years, 8 months and 18 days. She was the relict of Henry Oram, and was, for 21 years, a widow. She was born in Hayward's Heath, Cookfeld, Sussex County, England. She reached Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 14th, 1868?, and subsequently resided in North Ogden and Ogden. For about one year previous to her death she had been residing with her sons in Logan. She leaves five grown sons and four living grand children to mourn her loss. She had been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 26 years, and in her life she tried to conform to its principles, and in her death she retained a sure? pure? hope of a glorious resurrection with the just. SIMMONS - On the day of Sister Oram's death, her sister Eliza, wife of George Simmons, of Beaver Dam, lost a little girl named Sarah Eliza, aged 7 years, 9 months and 25 days. The remains of the little one were conveyed to the grave yard in the same vehicle with the body of her aunt, and the two graves lie near together. Deseret News and Millennial Star please copy.
