Show THE PANORAMA. On Thursday evening last, the grand panorama was presented in Logan Hall by Messrs. Kirkham and Kinnersley; and also several humorous songs and recitations were given by the first named gentleman. The entertainment would probably have been successful in all respects, but for the heavy snow storm on Thursday afternoon and evening, which prevented many people from attending. Those who were present, however, were well repaid. The pictures are very artistic in design and ????; and they embrace all kinds of scene from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Very much valuable information was given in the entertaining lecture by Mr. Kirkham; and the humorous declarations of that gentleman made the audience shout with laughter. A most pleasing feature of the evening's pleasure, was the instrumental music from Messrs. Harris and Lamoreaux, two young gentlemen who appear to possess considerable genius in the divine art. |
