Show Negligence Some little excitement was caused in the vicinity of the Deseret Mills Wednesday, through the discovery of something buried among the willow, near the river. The city Marshall's attention was drawn near the fact. He visited the place and found the Peter Casey's leg had been buried there after amputation, the box containing it being placed but a foot under the soil. The person who buried the (unreadable) in such a ? or the one who gave direction for doing so committed a gross error, for any one should know that an amputated part of the human body, if it can not receive am Christian burial should at least be interred in some more suitable place, and that such a ? in the earth as would render it ? ? power of and animal to exhume. For there it was a ? neglect on the part of somebody that the leg was not torn up and ? with the body after Casey's death. |
